For over 6 years, SWIFT has been running Tech Symposium, a conference dedicated to System Administration, Network Administration, and Security - the very foundations of SWIFT.
Tech Symposium is a student (university) driven event that enables students and professionals to come together in an interactive and informative meeting. Tech Symposium is run and organized by students for professionals and students with the goal of providing informative and relevant information to students about our ever changing field.
While the talks and workshops change every year, one thing stays the same; Tech Symposium will always be free for students. Tech Symposium is closely integrated to universities and most importantly the students. It Presents professionals and students with interactive training and thought-provoking presentation, and it has always provided a forum for students and professionals to explore mutual interests and learn from one another.
Tech Symposium's Goals are to engage local Universities and Businesses, to present attendees with latest technology and skills available in industry. Tech Symposium also has a goal to Forge relationships and to provide everyone with the opportunity to be inspired.
Participation and Reasons to Present: Inspire professionals and students with your company's technology or demonstrate new skills while mixing and mingling with professionals and students. Develop mentoring relationships between students and professionals and it gives a change for tech professionals to recruit students.
Bringing speakers from throughout the industry, Tech Symposium is a place for students, professionals, and companies to interact together and share knowledge.
This year we aim to have training(s), a varied lineup of talks, and a mock challenge for aspiring system administrators.
Did we mention everyone is welcome?
If you're curious, there's a lot of talks and workhops happening.
