For over seven years, SWIFT has been running Tech Symposium, a conference dedicated to System Administration, Network Administration, and Security. Tech Symposium is a student-run event that allows students and professionals to collaborate through interactive and informative presentations and workshops. With the dynamic and ever-changing role of technology, providing informative and relevant information is crucial to adapt to a continuously changing environment.
Tech Symposium will always be free for students. Tech Symposium is closely integrated to universities and most importantly the students. There is always a forum for students and professionals to explore mutual interests and learn from one another, an aspect that sets Tech Symposium apart from other conferences.
As with previous years, we aim to offer various trainings, a varied line-up of talks, and many opportunities to connect.
If you're curious, there's a lot of talks and workhops happening.
All students are invited to create a poster about a topic in Information Technology or Application Development and present it at Tech Symposium. Participating in the poster contest will give you the opportunity to discuss your topic to industry professionals and fellow peers. Remember to submit your topic with a short summary to [email protected] by Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:59PM. You will receive an email by February 2, 2018 informing you if your topic has been approved or if additional information is needed.
